Russia's supply of agricultural products to China has risen from the 13th to the 8th place in 10 years

The Russian Export Center's General Director Veronika Nikishina said at the grand opening of the Russian-Chinese Forum on Agricultural Cooperation in Moscow that Russia's supply of agricultural products to China has risen from the 13th to the 8th place among the supplier countries in the last 10 years, and the volume of exports has increased more than four times.
Chinese companies are interested in buying not only basic foodstuffs, but also higher value-added products, Nikishina said. One of the tasks of the Russian Export Center is to help Russian exporters develop direct relations with Chinese consumers. In addition, the Russian Export Center has opened 14 national “Made in Russia” stores on eight popular e-commerce platforms. In the first half of the year, Russian companies sold more than 1 billion rubles worth of products through these stores, more than in the whole of 2023.
In order to increase the competitiveness of exports, the Russian Export Center is also working with logistics partners to find solutions. According to the news, agricultural producers can utilize Agroexpress, as well as services such as Fish Shuttle and Meat Shuttle. Currently, 1 million tons of agricultural products and foodstuffs have been delivered to China using Agroexpress.

China's rapeseed imports hit record high in October
