Kpler ship tracking data shows that in October 2024, Russia exported 12,328,400 tons of seaborne coal, the month-on-month increase was 6.25 percent and the year-on-year decrease was 12.47 percent..
By destination, Russia exported 4,961,700 tons of seaborne coal to mainland China in October, down 10.30% from a year earlier and 20.48% year-on-year, accounting for 40% of Russia's total exports.
In the same month, Russia exported 1,712,800 tons of seaborne coal to Turkey, an increase of 32.36% from the previous month and a year-on-year drop of 4.99%; 1,568,500 tons to South Korea, an increase of 83.39% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 5.10%.
Exported 1,050,800 tons to India, down 18.29% from the previous month, down 48.85% year-on-year; exported 381,400 tons to China Taiwan, down 29.97% from the previous month, down 1.66% year-on-year.
In January-October 2024, Russia's seaborne coal exports totaled 132 million tons, down 15.32% year-on-year.

China's rapeseed imports hit record high in October
Nov. 24: China imported 843,046 tons of rapeseed in October, up from 806,870 tons in September and from 34,439 metric tons in October last year, a record high, customs data showed.
