According to the Association of Russian Sea Commercial Ports—ASOP Information released by the Press Center on October 14 shows that from January to September 2024, the cargo throughput of Russian seaports totaled 0.6674 billion tons, down 3.5 percent from the same period last year.

Among them, the export cargo throughput is0.5265 billion tons, down 3.2 per cent from the same period last year, 31.5 million tons of imported goods, up 8.1 per cent from the same period last year, 50 million tons of transit goods, up 1 per cent from the same period last year, and 59.3 million tons of domestic coastal goods, down 13.6 per cent from the same period last year.
In the first three quarters, all-Russian port solid dry bulk (Dry bulk cargo) transshipment volume was 0.3324 billion tons, down 4% from the same period last year. Among them, the coal transportation volume was 0.1434 billion tons, down 12.4 year on year.

The Baltic Basin cargo turnover in the first nine months of the seaport was 0.2065 billion tons, up 1.0 percent year on year. Among them, the dry cargo transshipment volume was 94.3 million tons (+7.5%) and the liquid cargo transshipment volume was 0.1122 billion tons (-3.9%).

Among the ports of the Baltic Sea, the port of Ust-Luga Cargo turnover was 0.1028 billion tons (-0.7 per cent), Primorsk Port 46.1 million tons (-3 per cent), Greate Port of St. Petersburg 39.7 million tons (+11.8 per cent) and Vysotsk Port 9 million tons (-9.2 per cent).

Sea of Azov-The cargo turnover in the seaports of the Black Sea Basin (the Azov-Black Sea Basin) was 0.2094 billion tons, down 7.5 percent year-on-year. The volume of dry cargo transshipment was 98.8 million tons (-10.3 per cent) and liquid cargo transshipment was 0.1107 billion tons (-4.9 per cent).
Among them, the port of Novorossiysk of 0.1258 billion tonnes (+2.2), Taman 20.8 million tonnes (-36.3), Tuapse 16.4 million tonnes (-15.2), Kavkaz 17.4 million tonnes (+2.5) and Rostov-on-Don 11.8 million tonnes (-7.2).

The Caspian Basin port cargo transshipment volume was 6.2 million tons, up 9.3 percent year on year. Among them, dry cargo transshipment volume was 4.3 million tons (+21.2%) and liquid cargo transshipment volume was 2 million tons (-10.1%). Among the main ports, the port of Astrakhan had a cargo turnover of 3 million tons (+7.1 per cent) and the port of Makhachkala had a cargo turnover of 2.4 million tons (-7.2 per cent).

The Far East Basin seaport cargo transshipment volume was 0.1759 billion tons, down 2.3 percent year on year. Among them, dry cargo transshipment dry cargo 0.1152 billion tons (-5%), liquid cargo transshipment 60.7 million tons (1.5).
