The duty on the export of sunflower oil from Russia, which will be effective in April 2025, is set at 4,568.7 rubles per ton. This is two times lower than in March — 9333.2 rubles per ton.
The duty on the export of sunflower meal, set for April, has been reduced by 1.9 times, to 939.5 rubles per ton, from the level of 1742.3 rubles per ton, set for March. Announced new bids The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
The indicative price for butter was $1065.7 against $1065.1 a month earlier, for meal — $206.1 against $204.1 in March. The base prices have not changed and amount to 82,500 rubles per ton of oil and 15,875 rubles per ton of meal.
A floating export duty of 70% on sunflower oil is charged on the difference between the base and the indicative price (the arithmetic average of market prices for the month). The duty rate on sunflower meal is equal to the difference between the indicative and base price multiplied by the correction factor (0.7).
Market analysts note that the reduction in duties is aimed at stimulating exports of sunflower oil and meal by easing the financial burden on exporters of products. Reducing the amount of duties can have a positive impact on the competitiveness of Russian products on the international market and contribute to an increase in export volumes.
