On July 9, the 2024 Northeast Regional Coal Supply and Guarantee Conference hosted by the National Coal Trading Center was held in Tongliao City. More than 300 representatives from the coal economic operation management departments of Inner Mongolia and the three northeastern provinces, the State Railway Group, the People's Government of Tongliao City, and key coal production and transportation enterprises in eastern Inner Mongolia and the three northeastern provinces attended the meeting.
It is reported that the theme of the fair is "promoting the high-quality development of coal supply chain in Northeast China under the unified market. At the meeting, the National Coal Trading Center reported the implementation of the medium-and long-term coal contract from January to June in 2024. By upgrading new services, creating new opportunities, actively building a platform for cooperation in production, transportation and demand, efforts will be made to improve the coal supply guarantee capacity of the northeast region in winter and summer storage and peak winter, and deeply integrate into the domestic coal supply and demand market.
In recent years, Tongliao City has thoroughly implemented the national energy security strategy, actively integrated into the construction of the national unified energy market, based on the advantages of regional resources, continued to promote the optimization and adjustment of energy structure, comprehensively improved the quality and efficiency of resource allocation, and accelerated the construction of coal emergency storage infrastructure located ineastern Inner Mongol area and integrated into the northeast, It plays an increasingly important role in promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure in Inner Mongolia and building a new energy system.
