Demeshin said:"By 2026, up to 30 million tons of coal will be transported to our Asian partners from here. In 2027, it is planned to increase the capacity of the Pacific Railway to 50 million tons. This is a super-large-scale project, which will significantly expand rail and maritime cargo transportation."
Demeshin said,Along with the terminal, the investor is building its own Pacific Railroad, with a length of more than 600 kilometers, including various branch lines and stations. Currently, 70% are built ".
The Pacific Railway was the first private railway in modern Russia. This non-public railway runs from the Yakutia Elga coal mine to the port of Elga on the Okhotsk Sea in the Khabarovsk Territory. Total length of line531km, with a total length of 626km including branch lines and stations.
