The company specializes in importing coal from Russia, primarily consisting of thermal coal, anthracite, lignite, and lean coal. The coal is transported via land and sea to ports including Suifenhe in Heilongjiang, Manzhouli in Inner Mongolia, Hunchun in Jilin, as well as various coastal ports across China, primarily serving customers in the northeastern and southern coastal provinces and cities. The company has established its own coal transfer terminals at Bayuquan Port, Taicang Port, and Yantai Port, with an annual transfer volume exceeding 3 million tons. Most coal terminals at coastal power plants can accommodate vessels over 40,000 tons; those at coastal ports primarily can handle ships of 20,000, 35,000, and 50,000 tons, with some ports also capable of accommodating 100,000-ton vessels.
