Russia to triple sunflower oil export tax for December

The first test run of the new “Pacific Railway” in the Russian Far East was completed.

Coal transshipments at Russian seaports down 11.5% year-on-year in January-October 2024
According to information released by the Press Center of the Russian Association of Commercial Seaports on November 12, the cumulative cargo throughput at Russian seaports in January-October 2024 was 743 million tons, down 3.2% from the same period last year. Among them, export cargo throughput was 586.6 million tons, down 2.8% year-on-year; 35.2 million tons of imported cargo, up 9% year-on-year; transit cargo transshipment was 54.8 million tons, flat compared to the same period of the previous year; and domestic coastal cargo transshipment was 66.5 million tons, down 13.1% year-on-year.
